From Xia/Shang until now, China has never clearly defined what constitutes private ownership. It doesn’t matter what the law says. If the “country” wants it, it’s no longer yours. Since the beginning of Chinese civilisation, the concept of the “individual” has been blurred. Every person is merely a fungible unit. Do you really understand China?
