Food safety in China. How good/bad is it? The trouble with China’s wealth is that it gives rise to faith in its system. But how is this wealth attained? How do you know who is honest and who isn’t?
Knowing these things is bad enough. What is worse is when people know these things and still cover up for them blaming prevalent issues on 西方炒作 or Western propaganda.
We’ve got to be fair here. Not all food manufacturers in China are evil. But how do you tell them apart? Would you avoid all Chinese products? I don’t have the right answer, but ultimately, it depends on how much faith you have in your own food and drug administration. And believe it or not, very few people around me still remember the melamine milk scandal when they queued up for Sinovac!
